Grant Writer AI and optional accounts

This policy covers Grant Writer AI, including optional accounts and cloud projects. Local drafts are stored in your browser for this app’s domain.

Grant Writer projects, organization profiles, extracted supporting-document text, and drafts save in this browser. AI requests send the project context shown in the confirmation dialog to OpenAI through our secure backend. AI opportunity searches use broad themes, applicant type, and geography; supporting documents are excluded from search. Do not submit confidential or third-party information without authorization. AI requests are configured not to store responses at the API provider, but provider abuse-monitoring and retention policies may still apply.

If you create an account, Supabase handles authentication. Your session is kept in this tab’s session storage. Cloud copies are uploaded only when you choose to save them. Cloud projects are accessible to their owner and listed reviewers; comments are shared within that project. Owners can delete cloud projects and associated comments. Local copies and exported backups remain until you remove them. Contact us to request account or cloud-data deletion. AI usage counts are recorded to enforce daily limits. Administrators can see aggregate usage totals, not proposal contents, through the activity dashboard.
